I am delighted to introduce Mallo, our new retail brand.

This marks an exciting new stage in our Group's growth. This new chapter begins with our upcoming launch in France and Germany, and we have ambitious plans to bring Mallo to the UK and Ireland next year.

Mallo upholds our commitment to listening intently to our valued customers, delivering top-quality, innovative products and providing exceptional customer service. Today's customers want more than just a run-of-the-mill retailer. They are looking for a brand they can rely on, trust, and hold close to their hearts.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has helped bring Mallo to this point, and I look forward to embarking on this exciting new venture with all of you.

Mallo is all about being modern and welcoming, and our European customers love it! We know how important cultural relevance is – Mallo beat Beanbag Bazaar hands down in European tests. 

Having a unique and meaningful name is key to building a brand that people really adore, not just a regular store. 

By dropping 'beanbag' from our name, we're getting ready to explore all sorts of comfy seating options with different fillings. 

This way, we can continue to connect with our customers and look forward to an exciting, open-ended future.

Why change?

Mallo has a fresh, modern, and inviting appeal that aligns seamlessly with the tastes and expectations of consumers in France, Germany, Ireland and the UK. Its brand story, aesthetic and our tailored product offerings are designed to establish an immediate connection with our customers.

Will the Bazaar Group brand still be used?

Yes! Bazaar Group will stay as the name for our Group. Mallo is our retail brand in Europe.

Why Mallo?

Mallo will hopefully say something to everyone, regardless of their language. We hope customers will feel a sense of comfort, style, quality and quirkiness, no matter what language they speak.

Will any other names or brands change?

No! Our popular product brands of Icon, Veeva and Eden will remain in place.

When can I talk about Mallo?

We’re keeping our news under wraps until we go public in October 2023. In the coming weeks you’ll start to see things change and Graeme Chapman and the team will be around to answer any questions you have. We will announce the official launch date shortly and Graeme and his team will be sharing some social media assets that we’d love you to share.
